Though everyone gets along, the obnoxious amount of duplicate/unnecessary threads is nauseating. The amount of namefagging is annoying, too, and the underage is painful. If we went back to the way things were between /tr/ and when X and Y started leaking, this place would be a haven again.

The whole point is to be able to discuss things freely and openly because nobody can judge you for who you are. Being a namefag completely defeats the purpose. Even the mods remain anonymous when they post.

I went to /mlp/ once, it was like venturing into the abyss.

4chan is first and foremost an anonymous image board. I understand the need of friend codes and names in the threads meant for that but outside of those being able to tell who's who is not a good thing.

I wouldn't say this board is truly at the bottom of the 4chan barrel. It was better before, but it was like that when we were a lot smaller, and some of us had a sense of "community" here. Even if most of us go anonymously.

In addition, as of recent times, people are becoming more opposed to things we used to enjoy on occasion like Pokérap Battles, using the excuse of it making us look autistic. It's the internet, nobody gives a fuck about judging you for all of eternity.

Nope. I've talked to some people about this. A few of them were nice, apologized, and I actually saw them posting in another thread. Some of them actually said to me, "No, I made this thread because I was being ignored in the other. I want people to give me what I want."

I also see people profusely bumping their own thread until someone responds with what they want.
