Once again, the answer is bulky Water types:
>Quagsire (Unaware)
>Slowbro
>Vaporeon
>Gyarados (Intimidate)
>Tentacruel
>Jellicent
>Politoed
>Gastrodon
Or, you could just use whatever you want with good defense (and Flying resistance, although this is not necessary) to wall Talonflame into oblivion, including but not limited to:
>Tyranitar
>Hippowdon
>Probopass
>Bastiodon
>Magnezone
>Cradily
>Gigalith
>Omastar
>Kabutops
>Rhyperior
>Carracosta
>Aggron

All of the Pokemon I listed have access to Electric, Rock or Water moves and can cleanly OHKO Talonflame. Some of them also resist both of Talonflame's STABs so they're absolute foolproof counters. Tyranitar is especially nice since it can just Pursuit Talonflame when it attempts to switch away and take care of it immediately.
Also: keep dem pebbles on the field. Talonflame can switch into Waldo Minerals only once. Switch into Skarmory, set up Stealth Rock (and maybe some other hazards too, it's not like Talonflame can do much against max defense Skarmory) and just phaze it away with Whirlwind if the opponent doesn't switch out. Or, you could just defeat Talonflame with our own Brave Bird, it's not like Talonglass can survive that after taking some recoil damage first.
tl;dr Have you ever played the fucking games? Talonflame has shitloads of counters. Just don't have a full team of glass cannon and you're good to go. It's not that difficult, seriously.
