So I was going through HeartGold and White 2 to see any Shinies/Cool Pokemon that I would send over. Turns out that the Mawile I have waiting is Impish with 31IV's in Attack, Defense, and HP, and I never even knew.

Waiting for Bank now, is going to be suffering.

Still tying to get my first radar shiny in any game ever. Figured I'd go to route 5 and try for Pancham or Furfrou. I just can't get my chains to even reach 30, let alone 40. Once I get into the 15-25 range the chain will just randomly be broken by a Skiddo.

Maybe I should just stick to safari shinies, since I was able to get a blue Shuckle yesterday with relative ease.

If you're gonna battle I'd say MM is the way to go, because that way you're 100% guaranteed the right nature, a good chance of the right ability, at least 4 max IVs if you have two pentaperfect parents of the same spread, and you can also add egg moves.

I don't see why that won't work. As long as you're letting the pokemon w/ the nature you want to pass on hold the everstone, and the let the ditto hold the destiny knot, it'll be fine.

Okay, I know this is gonna be a totally out there request, and probably difficult to fill, but I very badly want a shiny Vivillon in either Tundra or Icy Snow pattern, preferably Tundra, and if at all possible, with at least 4ivs as I'd like to use it competitively.

If anyone has one from their own breeding, I can offer a 3iv Shiny Sneasel with Icicle Crash, or a 5iv Shiny Gengar. As crazy as it sounds, I'm even willing to breed a 5iv parent to give to someone if they're willing to MM one up for me, and if that's the case then I'm willing to offer both shinies in return plus the 5iv parent.

Am I completely insane, or is anyone willing to coordinate this with me? I very desperately want one for my bug team.

i've used reciept paper, that kind of paper people print their business cards on, dollar bill, copy paper, notebook paper. I carry my 3ds around a lot and don't always keep the same piece. As long as its clean I don't see why it wouldn't work.

guys I have a Masuda Method question (don't judge, first time trying)

I have a japanese murkrow and a local ditto. I've hatched 900 eggs (all mah boxes full) and I don't have my shiny.

Is there another method besides hatching and boxing? like getting 5 eggs, saving, hatch them, soft reset and repeat? Or do I need to start releasing boxes full of murkrow into the wild.

Once you pick up the egg, it is determined, you can't soft reset them. They will hatch the same every time.

it'll take you longer to soft reset and all that. Every egg has the same potential to be shiny, and it really is best to just hatch them all and release.

Just keep going, you aren't guaranteed a shiny even after that many eggs. Its a game of chance.

No chaining? If you want a specific nature, it might be quicker for you to use a pokemon with sync, then just catch a bunch while chaining. Pretty much the same. Some people MM when the pokemon they are breeding are unattainable for radars
