>>16835666Your complaining about having your stance on an opinion-based topic criticized. Where are we? 4chan. In a place like this that discourages hugboxing and gives people the power to say what they want and not be held accountable, it's natural for people to shit on others.
>>16835697>>16835739I want to transfer my Pokemon to X/Y. You want to transfer your Pokemon to X/Y. We can both do that regardless of whether we pay five dollars or not. I have no interest in making use of the online storage, because X/Y can hold more than 900+ Pokemon, which is far more than anyone would need, and therefore online storage is made redundant.
Thus, the basis of my argument is that there is little to no reasons as to why anyone would be willing to spend 5 dollars on a service that they can easily replicate for free, and thus it's a bad financial decision. I can do just the same as you without having to spend money on it.
Regarding your last point, I do worry that this will encourage Gamefreak to start including more methods of extracting small sums of money from fans, like micro transactions. They already have done so in Gates To Infinity and Pokemon Rumble U, and now Pokebank.
