He's a nice guy. Silver was a cunt, which made kicking his ass more fun. Plus it lead to some nice evolution of his character.
Anyway, the story was very mediocre. Lysandre had vague and not very interesting motives and was blatantly the villain from the first time you met him. Everyone else in the team, especially the admins, looked like jokes.
AZ was interesting and had cool lore, but it wasn't really expanded on that much (IIRC they never explained why he was huge and the fact that he was the King was never really explained well either).
Compared to BW the story was very weak.
Probably the best thing about it was that the rivals actually posed a threat in that final battle, as opposed to being completely worthless.
