>>17260659How much of Amie have you even played? It's really weird you keep saying "same :D face that's it that's Amie" when there's usually two different happy reactions to Amie. There's usually a more extreme happy reaction depending on the pokepuff you give it. Like Meowstic for example has an animation where she just looks to the side when she's happy, but then there's another where she turns to look at you while putting her hand to her mouth.
There's also petting it in the wrong area, and even taking food and dropping it. Taking food and dropping it gives a different reaction to petting it wrong. Two different animations.
There's also the select few that high five you when you hover your hand around them. And when you idle them for a bit they make little animations too. It's not just "a generic :D face that's it", there's literally five animations you can get if you tried hard enough.
I love walking Pokemon, but I find it super confusing that it's treated as a superior thing when it's literally just text and a wobbling sprite. Amie actually focuses on the Pokemon's personality, every Pokemon "smelled the nostalgic air/yawned loudly" in HGSS.
If it's not your cup of tea that's fine, but you seem very double-standards about it and it's kind of confusing.
