Things that were big last gen that aren't as big this gen:
Politoed, Ninetails, Keldeo, Tyranitar (more so), landorus-t, forretress, garchomp. Hyper offence gen
Things that became bigger this gen:
Basically every mega, azumarill, galvantula, mandibuzz, rotom-w, bulky offence in general this gen

And at the end of the game something like Landorus-t/Keldeo/Latios/Breloom/Jirachi/ and I usually saw the last slot rolling around.
But these are just a few, I don't want to show the Deoxys-D Hyper Offense teams (Deoxys-D/Gengar/Latios/Terrakion/filler/filler) or the GAYASS Genesect sun teams (Ninetales/Genesect/Dugtrio/Venusaur/Forretress/Filler)
Overall it was a fun generation

Agreeing that six is probably the most diverse so far. There are plenty of popular things but a number of strategies are viable and they are fairly varied.

How is Gen VI about bulky offense in any way? You probably can't name a single relevant bulky attacker that is used commonly in OU. This Gen is just about gotta go fast, so much actually that Speed became completely irrelevant and it's all about priority.

The only OHKOs that Life Orb gets are Ferrothorn and Rotom-W after pebbles damage.
If you play with Cloyster you should be weakening his checks, everything else kills you with priority or you straight out knock them out.
Wearing yourself out after a defense drop if your worse idea.

Kang is banned. I hardly see Klefki and Sableye. Aegislash is predictable and easy to deal with. And Rotom-W is on almost every team. Azumarill and Scizor are both easy to deal with.

I personally think gen 6 allows for much more diversity than last gen.
Last gen had to it that you could run shit like Jynx or Parasect if you really wanted to and if you played to their strenghts they could be real. But now that the meta is much bulkier, ghost and dark got buffed, everything can have infinite bulk with Assault Vest and megas are game breaking, you can use obscure pokes to some success.

Last gen, I tested a lot of lower tier pokes and most of them were subpar, but now shit like Crawdaunt can be a big threat if played properly.
