My most beloved shiny has to be my Magnezone. It was an accidental hatch that ended up with a decent nature, it may not have perfect IVs, but it still wrecks shit.

I don't really like the design of the whole Klink line, I got him in an ultra ball, and I knew nothing about natures or EV training back then, but he's my first and I love him.

I had a box that was half hatched after getting the first shiny. So I thought I'll fill 1 more box and hatch this half. Just hatching the half one and got another SHINY! My ride would have been done on box 73 but now I am at 80. Too outrageous.

So, I'm still new to this, but it seems that getting the shiny charm is pretty big for shiny hunting. Thing is it requires the national pokedex, which I'm nowhere close to. Something that helped me a lot was the Wonder Trade.

You make a box of a poke you want as a shiny, and once the whole box is hatched, you trade the non-shiny pokes and trade whatever you receive until you receive species you don't have. Then, you work on evolutions and such.

In addition, you'll have lots of Miles (more or less 10 000 per box), that you can translate into Rare Candies, Heart Scales and PP Plus for various uses. With a good combination of these, you can transform a newly-hatched shiny into a lv100 powerhouse without effort (you'll only need a little time for EV training, though).

It finally habbened. At about 4 AM last night, I finally found a FS shiny to give away as a gift. There were three Pokemon in that safari. Two were cute, one not so much. A brief story:

My first shiny encounter was in Soul Silver- a Ditto in the SZ. It ran away. I didn't see another shiny until Y, in a horde of Geodude. Of course, it got Magnitude'd. Then one day I was farming for heart scales when a I hooked a shiny Luvdisc. Used False Swipe on it. It used Take Down.

Then, recently I was trying to breed a shitty GTS Piplup with my 4IV Spanish Ditto so the child would get the speed, defense and HP IVs. Just five eggs later, pic related happens. Her IV spread is only xx/xx/xx/31/xx/31, but I don't care. Her name is Olive and I am going to transfer her to all future games.

Oh fuck I forgot Bannette is one of my favourite pokemon and finally became viable thanks to Mega stones. I think I might do that one.

Possibly the weakest Pokemon I've tried to raise. I just don't know how to make it worthwhile, in-game or competitively. It's 4x Steel weakness is deadly, especially now physical Steel moves are everywhere. I have a 6IV one, but it's staying in my box until a miracle makes it viable in any way. Sylveon and Goodra are just better.
