Really it's not that hard to top that.
Like any strategy if it works it gets more wins than losses. It's not as bad as moody, or evasion. You can overcome it.

There's no such thing as skill, and the luck aspect is simply more apparent than paraflinching/crits.

If this gets banned in any way, shape or form I will lose respect for Smogon as a community, whether or not it removes "autonomy."

Because, up to now, they haven't been frivolous and/or unjustified. Mega Gengar is almost too broken for ubers, Mega Kangaskhan made gen 4 garchomp look easy to handle, and Mega Lucario was just a slightly different flavor.

Genesect was used a ton by HO teams as well, and the only thing it made Deosharp team do is use Deo-S instead of Deo-D.

He was also banned by a suspect test, it wasn't a decision by the "HO-loving Council" or whatever.

Yup and all 140 or so suspect testers were all planning to ban Genesect because they knew it completely dismantled their HO teams (it did, along with everything else which is why it was a staple on HO teams too) and go it unanimously banned (it barely passed.)

This implies that a reason it should be banned is because it draws out the game and is "annoying" yet stall teams are a completely legitimate strategy that does the same thing. I understand that stall actually requires skill unlike swagplay but you can't make one of your reasons for suspect testing something be "because it makes people mad and draws out games" when other legitimate strategies do the exact same thing.

Paraswag takes no fucking skill. Absolutely none. And yet it still works most of the time. It has a few hard counters, but if you're not running those you're left with a massive PP stallfest to win. It's not fun, it's not skilled, it's a fucking cancer of a strategy, and it needs to die already.

They banned Garchomp and Salamence in Gen 4 even thought "Dragons and Steels" were seen as their "favorites". They banned Swift Swim + Drizzle even though it heavily nerfed their favorite weather, and if you want to argue that Sand was their favorite, well then they banned Excadrill too.

Now you're saying Hyper Offense is their "favorite" way to play, and willfully ignoring the bans to all the best HO mons in Genesect, Kanga, and Lucario for no reason other than the fact that these bans don't fit your paranoid conspiracy theory.
