Ludicolo and Togekiss are both far more apt than Tropius/Spinda for Dionysus.
Spinda was chosen because >Drunk equals dizzy
Tropius was chosen because >Bannana bunch can be grape bunch, which is tied to dionysus.
But Dionysus is the god of:
-Wine
-Merry Making
-Theatre
-Extacy
Ludicolo:
Upon hearing an upbeat and cheerful rhythm, the cells in Ludicolo's body become very energetic and active. Even in battle, this Pokémon will exhibit an amazing amount of power.
Togekiss:
As everyone knows, it visits peaceful regions, bringing them gifts of kindness and sweet blessings.
Togekiss isn't as apt, but ludicolo is definitely very representative of Merry Making and extasy.
