Going out to eat with your pokemon, the Machamp who helps carrying presents for it's owners daughter, and hints of wild roaming pokemon in areas that aren't just dense forests or caves.
That kind of slice-of-life aspect of interacting humans and pokemon is really something Gamefreak or a manga or something should delve deeper into.
