That was a recent run before ORAS was annonced. I don't even know if I have any Pokemon retained from my first playthrough back in the day.

I'm tempted to dig up my old Gen III games and bring some pokemon from 2003 in to my copy of Pokemon Y, I'll have to buy and beat Pokemon Black or White first though, I was out of the loop w/r/t pokemon betwen 2008 and 2013.

My original gen 3 Pokemon are lost to time, and I used Action Replay a bunch during gens 3 and 4, so I didn't really want to bring a lot of them over..

First shiny that wasn't Gyarados ever. I remember going apeshit when I encountered it. I wasn't even looking for one- I was looking for a Wingull to transfer over to Diamond to complete my dex.
