As it sounds - it can be (expensive) supplements that you earn from a battle facility, and/or it could be some kind of special once a day training for a single stat.

Breeding for IVs and Nature will still be valuable for saving time, but now you don't have to treat a 4 perfect IV mon, or much less the bro you've been with through your first playthrough like a lost cause.

I find it extremely strange that the Nature mechanics rely entirely on hatching RNG. It's very against pokemon flavor to hatch thousands of eggs and release babies that aren't perfect.

It'd get your eggs away, you'd certainly get better stuff than the normal wondertrade on average and it'd be perfect for wonderlockes/egglockes/mystery egg challenges.

Have one parent hold a particular berry and the child will have a particular HP type.

Yache - Ice
Roseli - Fairy
Haban - Dragon

And so on. Chilan would pass down the parent's HP type because there's no HP Normal.

Well, to each their own I guess, it doesn't take me "hours" to breed up mons, just the first couple of times since I didn't have any. and I don't find it so boring that it needs to be removed personally.

But that's a good way of trading with a specific person whose friends list is full without getting sniped. If I put in a level 3 shitmon and ask for something good, I know that some random faggot isn't going to snatch it up.

That's all I want, the ability to actually be competitive without having to throw genetic rejects into the trash. Make it hard or time consuming or whatever, it will still be a step up from tossing away breeding rejects.

Yeah I understand man, sometimes RNG just really hates your guts and just doesn't want to give you the right ability at times or that 5th IV, sometimes it happens to me too, but usually I get what I need within 5-15 eggs once I have some 5 IV mons established in certain egg groups.

of course once I got my hands on a 6 IV ditto I switched to that instantly when I wasn't breeding egg moves, but overall sixth gen has really made it easier.

A quick battle mode

This means, you might be walking through a cave, and after one step your poke suddenly seems to have 12hp lower, one less PP, and a little more exp. You literally fought of another poke without doing anything
you won't be informed of this, unless your poke starts getting low on HP or PP, or levels up
