Well, that was just a Gyarados. Run of the mill Water Type for anyone who found one or trained a Magikarp.
Beldum is a Steel/Psychic Psuedo Legendary that will take down everything that stands in it's path, eventually evolving and becoming even more powerful.
And then when you reach Metagross, you can Mega Evolve it for maximum bullshit power.
