Dont dupe or you'll risk yourself getting banned or even causing a wipe.

Also it seems like the problem is caused by the disk not having enough space. I'm not sure if the furniture mod is the main cause but LWC is affected aswell so any chests you place right now will not be protected. Our best bet is to wait for Ki or OP to fix it.

I actually haven't been having problems with the PC; I had to dis/reconnect to fix pokemon not leaving balls, and while my location and inventory reset, I'd wondertraded a tangela for a bulbasaur, which I kept.

Been reading some cause of this issue and it seems like the server is running out on disk space. I thought it was dynmap before since it's the latest plugin the server added before it went borked.

Also just a quick info for OP, when the server starts, it still saves the inventories and such. But after a few minutes, it goes fucks up again.

I'm not sure if it helps but deleting files that aren't in use anymore might help the problem

We have unlimited, but its only for the world file which, at the time of the switch, was the largest file we had.

Removing dynmap now.

I don't want to reset the server because of this, I'd rather just cut our losses and move on hoping people return.

Or we could delete everything and go 1.7.10

In the meantime, last night was filled with a lot of pessimism towards the server, lots of people complaining about the number of people online, how almost no one new joins (Even though we get 3-4 players a day) so I am gonna go on ahead and say it. Let's do some advertising outside of /vp/. It's obvious we aren't going to get a spurt of 30-40 people on this board from these threads, so why not put the server up on the pixelmonservers list or something? Sure we'll end up with a few new shit members like bearmonger n co. or Dann, but we'd also get new members that are just there to play the damn game.

To be honest it doesn't really bother me either way. Being relatively new on the server I don't have much of anything I care about losing. Couple of records here, odd diamond and other building materials there.

And I think a map reset could do some good for the community. The issue I'm noticing is that every player seems to be building their own town miles from anyone else, the maps littered with small collections of houses no one uses. It would be nice if people came back together to build a more concise map.

OP, if I build a city in creative, could you import it into the map? I have a shit lot of materials and loot that can be considered equivalent to trade for the imported city too.

Building without flying and MCEdit is just so difficult for my lack of patience. I'll probably finish it off when it's actually in the server map anyway.

Can't tell if the server reset at some point or what, but I logged back in and my party was fixed: had the Infernape and the Abra, just as it should. Then I tried WonderTrading the Infernape and it didn't update to show the Oshawott I got. Logged out and back in and it still hasn't updated. I really wish we could just upgrade Pixelmon versions and hopefully do away with a lot of the bugs that seem to be plaguing players now. Especially the one that just wipes people's whole parties-- although I guess that may have been related to dynmap eating all the disk space, come to think of it.

That was on the old server. That map wasn't carried over, and was just up for people to fuck around on. A couple days later OP put up the actual map and player data (that he downloaded before that happened) on the new server, but still running the old version. We've all been playing that for a few days now.

I honestly wouldn't mind Bibliocraft. While it would be assisting the already unbearable writing community around the server, it would still come in handy, especially for making libraries look nicer than those decorative-only bookcases. Also, glasses and lamps. And a bell for player-run shops where the player is likely to be in house. Or hotels! We could make hotels, guys!

Would probably want the backpack mod first though. I'm kind of hooked on it, and think it would be very valuable for storing TMs and stones.
