After Gen II, these are the least worthwhile starters. At least Gen II has age as an excuse, but after having dual types on all three starters in Gen IV and then going to pure Grass, pure Water, and another Fire/Fighting, these guys really were overshadowed by literally every other starter.
Snivy got boring grass mon the experience in league with Meganium as most generic starter ever.
Oshawott got fighting type attacks and a neat concept, but was executed in a confusing manner and not getting the fighting dual type made it lackluster in comparison to other water types.
Tepig is the worst fire/fighting starter. Period. Blaziken did it first, Infernape did it best, and Emboar was just a fucking waste of a party slot.
