Digimon Story 3 was pretty good, and so was Digimon World Re:Digitize. The Digimon Adventure adaptation was also surprisingly good. And Cyber Sleuth is coming out soon.

As far as U.S. releases go, none. The last good Digimon game released in the U.S. was Digimon World 3.

As far as Japanese releases go, there is Digimon World Re; Digitize and Digimon Adventure (PSP). Sucks we ain't getting these games in the U.S., but whatever.

The XY6 TCG set is called Emerald Break in Japan. Gaurentee you the English equivalent set will be called Delta Emerald.

So we can debunk that theory now.

I don't think a single Digimon fan thought this. The hope, the FUCKING DREAM, was that All Star Rumble would sell enough to convince Bandai to at least consider actually translating the RPGs, which is what we really want. Nobody expected it to happen, though, and it didn't.

Being a Digimon is pain.

You ruined everything at the end.
The summary is that Pokémon has a huge online fanbase, one of the largest, and yet we only get sloppy game targeted at kids.
The creators keep changing the lore, the continuity and the mythology at their own accord. Also sixth generation later we still haven't got that pokédex and type chart retcon (balancing types, abilities, movepools and BST, fairy was a good step in that direction but tiny) but we've got fucking' megas, which are opposite to the very core of the series and just edgy for the sake of being edgy. And there are tons of other problems: i love this franchise guys but the creator are sloppy and they will continue to be sloppy because the franchise isn't winding down. I'm afraid to say that pokèmon is turned just in cod-like soulless cash machine.

No it's because the concept was awesome in 1996 and still is. But after that there were only adjustment, no true advancement in the gameplay. Also get the fuck out there you neet, kids don't care about pokémon, the game is obviously supported by the huge internet fandom. 2009 is over, the golden age of casual gamer is gone, they're all happy with their smartphone, now only people who want to play seriously to play at a mutherfuckin' videogames are left, and pokémon is the only franchise who still hasn't acknowledged that.

We're definitely getting Kanto Remakes in 2016.
2015 will be Pokémon Z. 2016 will be Kanto remakes. 2017 will be gen 7, first games on a new console.

This is what REALLY pisses me off about Masuda's repeated statements about making the game more casual to try and make the game nicer for casuals - those same casuals who aren't even on the 3DS, because they've moved to tablets and smartphones.
