Doesn't even make sense why you'd need tickets to see a meteor shower. What, does the Mossdeep Space Center hold exclusive rights over the night sky? Do you need to pay them a royalty to look at the stars? Brendan and May are inside too, watching it through a window. That's a terrible way to watch a meteor shower.
