Gamefreak tends to butcher tracks the more times they remix them.

Daily reminder HGSS's soundtrack was shit and the games music was only decent when you got the gb player.

It's true though. HGSS's Super Ancient Legendary theme's buildup was done much better. And FRLG did the Johto music mostly better than HGSS, with some exceptions like Violet City. Go ahead and tell me HGSS's version of Lake of Rage is better than FRLG's.
