The darker shade of green they actually use in game that makes it look closer to jade or emerald is actually not bad at all.

Fits well with the eyes and jewel on its head. Makes a nice Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald imagery

I caught a shiny meowstic(f) really early on in X, I was extremely happy because i was specifically looking for that shiny. Recently all of my pokemon shit was stolen from me and this is what i miss the most...and the many years of event mons. on that note, the shiny giratina was cool too.

Love shiny megas like that. I think the only other two that really do it are just Garchomp who turns purple and Medicham who just has a more noticeable gold skin tone.

Garchomp pulls off the obnoxious pink and purple look decently with all those spikes though. It's like current day TF2

I remember someone who had a leaked copy of XY on /vp/ caught a shiny one of those really early on. I was hyped as hell, as I thought Noivern would look the exact same.

Damn shame. Zorua and Zoroark have a similar deal, but at least Zoroark's shiny is great on its own too.
