Base 70 would become equivalent to base 158 to base 189, which sounds like a lot, except (Mega) Steelix and Mega Aggron already exist and are decidedly underwhelming.

Fur Coat is no more broken than Pure/Huge Power, and is arguably significantly less broken because good defensive Pokemon are much harder to make than good offensive ones.
Fur Coat Flareon would be good, but let's not pretend like it'd be unmanageable. It'd still be dead weight against a Rain team.
