As I run Char Y, I must keep clear of rocks. If you don't mind the rocks you can get water stab or recovery to use after tricking.
I like switching it into Ferrothorn. Mostly when they setup the rocks. They belive you'll rapid spin imediately so they use stealth rocks again for you to get the Rocky Helmet+Barbs damage while keeping rocks. They get scarf tricked and you spin while they switch. You get clear of rocks and keep starmie at full Hp.
Sometimes they will go for Power Whip, then you will have to sack it. So then you choose, clear rocks now and revenge kill it or scarf it and leave hazards on.
It's risky, but if it works, the reward is high.
