Morimoto: That's right. Sylveon's usage has also increases a lot.
Tsubaki: Sylveon is strong right now.
Morimoto: It's because move tutors have made learning Hyper Voice easier than in XY.
Tsubaki: Sylveon has high Sp. Atk, giving it high power even when not hitting weaknesses.
Morimoto: Ones holding Choice Specs and using Hyper Voice are especially common. Has good synergy with the highly used Kangaskhan.
Tsubaki: Morimoto-san, in ORAS you suggested using Mega Sableye and Mega Slowbro.
Morimoto: Mega Sableye is hard to use, but I want you to try it out. It might be troubling because regular Sableye is already very usable.
Tsubaki: Sableye's hidden ability Prankster is quite strong.
Morimoto: Right. But I think Mega Sableye is fun too, using things like Trick Room.
Tsubaki: And Mega Slowbro?
Morimoto: During development it was tossed around that it wasn't used very much, but upon taking a closer look, that wasn't quite the case. Personally, I thought it had room to grow a bit more.
Masuda: It was a Pokemon we revealed on the stage of last year's Pokemon World Championships, so I want it to flourish. The year before, we revealed Mega Kangaskhan, and she's flourishing a lot (laughs).
Tsubaki: It might be up to circumstance. It hold it's own against Mega Kangaskhan, but it's rather difficult against Zapdos, Thundurus, or Aegislash.
