You're on /vp/, where people think they aren't having a game this year because of the "backlash" from XY and ORAS. Seriously, people actually believe that /vp/'s opinion is relevant in any way to Nintendo and Gamefreak.

And for whatever reason, these retards spout that the games have been rushed. XY is "incomplete" for the sake of a third version as always but nothing in ORAS suggests anything rushed. Most of the time it's just asshurt Frontierfags who can't get over the fact that most of the people who buy the games don't even know what it is.

I think the quality of the game depends more on who directs the development process rather than the supposed "team" or even time spend to make it.

Shigeki Morimoto (the guy behind Emerald and HGSS) seems to be showing a lot in recent interviews so I pray it's going to be him next time.

They decided to make it in November 2012, they had a whole year to plan out what they wanted in the games before they allegedly started making it. So, it's pretty unlikely it was rushed.

They're not announcing anything until a Direct later into Autumn or Winter, where they'll announce Genwun Reremakes slated for February to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of R/G and the entire series.

Hoopa pulls the legendaries out of their "native" timeline

There's an interview that states they "decided" to remake it in Nov 2012. That certainly doesn't mean they started developing it in 2012 though. They had a year to brainstorm and plan shit out before putting the ideas into action and develop it. Nothing was rushed.

From the gym leader rematches and quests and interactions and trades, the numerous quests, the pokewalker npc battles, the legends, the two extra routes, the 8 extra badges and red, then the Hoenn story continuation as the POST-post game once you beat red.

Plus a whole lotta shit im prolly forgetting, on top of the frontier of course.

HG/SS's amount of content is rivaled only by W2/B2, and OR/AS doesnt even compare to either of them.

How is that bad Postgame, especially the Delta Episode? There were even small minor things to do(like catch legends). How is this any different from older games? I wouldnt have problem with XY2 taking 2 years if ORAS had an actual post game I could waste my time with. Or if there was some decent spin-off (ie. not microtransaction filled bs we have now) to keep me occupied in a meantime.

The original empty year was actually far worse than what you see today. Back then, the threads didn't disappear. They and their inhabits festered and spread across the whole board, turning it into a cesspit truly worthy of deletion. If that didn't make moot nuke the place, I doubt his replacements will consider it during this calmer situation.
