And after playing Blue/Red for a little, T/D/S does feel a little faster paced.
I can't remember the differences between them, and I liked Red/Blue and Time/Darkness/Sky, but I can say for certainty that T/D/S held me a lot longer than the originals.
If you're that worried, just buy it at Gamestop; for all the shit I hear from them, they're one of few stores I've gone to that will let you return a game (even if it's been opened) for a full refund for any reason, even if that reason is "I didn't like it". So if you do end up not liking it, you can return it for the full price.
