So I've been thinking as the numerous threads regarding the rerelease of the Generation 1 games, and that it was such a waste of time and money because it's so easily accessible even to the common nimrod on their mobile device for free.
I've never really dabbled in phone games since I would just play something else, but am quite curious just HOW easy and accessible is it to acquire one of these games? I'm willing to give it a try, and I'm asking here because it seems this is THE place for knowing the best methods of doing so, so I really want to see just how simple it is after all.

Here are my (unfortunate) current conditions however:

I do have stable internet connection.
I do NOT have access to a computer.
I do have access to an iPhone 5s, NOT jailbroken.
I have little more than basic knowledge on the inner workings of my mobile device (which I'm posting from), but am competent enough to understand basic instruction.

Can I still achieve playing Blue version on my device, right now?
