It's a common fallback see artists draw the symbol of a shoe in place of having to draw feet rather than understanding how a foot works to give the shoe more believability (generally one would best draw the basic planar structure of a foot THEN wrap a the shoe in perspective around it. That isn't what we're seeing here)
More than that, there's no sense of gravity or weight. The vamp is magically being pulled by an upwards force, there is no volume on the heel area, it's like it's embedded in her skin. Hell, there isn't even some hint of a sole either.
I don't go to /ic/ or anything, but I see this kind of thing a lot and it usually gets a free pass because pointing this out means you're a footfag, therefore point is invalid. Sad too, because there's plenty of fallbacks just as bad that get a calling out.
Oh yeah and the Vivillon wings seem thrown on.
