What would you guys want from DLC in PSMD?

Its from one of the final bosses of the game. Mainly in the pacifist/netural route. Flowey takes 6 of the dead human souls and uses them to transform into some malformed plant monster thing with a TV head that constantly switches between erratic disturbing gifs on screen as he tries to kill you

Probably because it's not as big and didn't offer too much new things.

There are 3 versions, like all Pokémon besides the Wi-Fi event things are one version only, and each version has only 15 dungeons. The evolution mechanic appears as early as 2nd dungeon and monster houses appear as early as 5th.

The game's pretty neat, though. It's no Sky, but it's a fun time waster.

I got all the legendaries+Kecleon, so that's one hurdle down I guess.

But like a fifth of the fucking pokemon are Wish Cave/Joyous Tower exclusive, and Chansey is not only 50f in, but you need to recruit two.

Most of those Pokémon are quite low in the dungeon, and a few of the middle evolutions of starters can be recruited elsewhere at a slightly lower chance and a higher level. You can get Charmeleon, Quilava, and Combusken at Fiery Field, for example, and Pikachu at Lightning Field.

Chansey is some serious bullshit, though.

I sent out a Giratina with Earth Power and Ominous Wind.

Streetpass saved my hide the other day I was going through Suicunes dungeon.

By the 8F was going at it solo because everyone on the team got leaf storm sniped

Was using a Froakie to make it even worse
I remember barely getting pass this monster house. The dungeon had Magnezone's discharge and Leaf storm.

By the time I made it to 13F I was at 24hp already with no berries. Suddenly I get the message.

"Charmander from Streetpass has come to help!"

I used it as a meat shield and it worked.
I pretty much pushed Charmander into a dark hallway to check and suddenly "SCEPTILE USED LEAF STORM"

in general, heres a list of shit that gave me troube/are much stronger than the rest of the pack in general
>drapion: just plain high stats, also accupressure
>amoonguss: same as drapion, and effect spore's a bitch
>primeape:high stats
>gyarados:thrash multi-hit bs
>ariados: powerful poison sting
>cloyster: shell smash+hydro pump ended many of my earlier runs
>pelipper:hydro pump + tailwind
>bellossom:sunny day+chlorophyll+leaf storm came close to ending me

So basically, the only thing you get is bragging rights. Man, at least the other level 1 dungeons in RT and Sky had actual rewards in them. I mean I guess you could take some TM's out of the dungeon, but it's way too hard, and stealing is easier.

Anon, I believe you're mistaken when I say "Hardy"
You get Charmander and Torchic from those respective quizzes with a hardy personality and the like.
I usually don't go for room clear, since I always invest in a partner that usually always has a sweep/room clear move to begin with. To be honest, I usually play it smart and just use Flamethrower to whittle any opposition down that my partner isn't currently invested in before taking care of them whenever they get close.

Does Super Mystery Dungeon get any good?

The whole Break mechanic is shit, i'll admit. You'll get access to more regions in the long run so you'll be able to do more.

Missions are finite sadly, so there's less replayability than Sky, and this keeps me from calling it better than Sky, or as good. It's still very much a good game, though. By the sound of things you're still rather early, just keep pressing on, maybe your opinion will change?

Yeah, the connection orb fucked up in one swoop both missions and recruitment, all for the sake of plot.

Also the dungeons have way less floors, but it seems like each floor is much larger, or at least it feels like I spend more time finding the stairs while the belly empties faster, even when not using alliances.

You know how things eventually stop happening in the games? That would never happen if it were real. You also wouldn't be limited to only doing the things you do in-game, so you can basically run free on top of being in the Pokemon world.

It does, but the game is more fun, if as soon as you are able, you unlock all of the continents and take all of the missions. Then do the dungeons with multiple missions to have more fun in the dungeons and to level up faster. Also, use wondermail codes to get good stuff like max elixirs and the like.

They need to find a medium between what they did in RT/Sky and what they did in Super. It's shitty as hell to need to search for a Leaf Stone that i have no idea where they are, but also shitty that there are no repeatable missions in Super, and you got some fully evolved mons rather early on, even though the cooldown on them was massive

If the newer games did one thing right, it was making Trap Avoider automatic from the start. I think you need something absurd like 5 stars of IQ for it in RT, and not every mon gets it in Sky

Satiated looplet and emera-ups is broken for that kind of huge trek, if you get a Mobility then it's gg. Grass Looplet is also extremely useful if you can RNG a Big Meal early enough. Otherwise it's the usual room clearing and Max Elixers with music you haven't heard since the storyline.

Not reeeeally, but the game was designed for knowledge of the last games in mind. That's why it's "Super" Mystery Dungeon. You could very well go in a backwards order and be fine, SMD is still a fine game by itself.

Depends on your starters levels. Generally, the closer in level they are, the less they go in break. If you REALLY wanted to use your bro, you could just dump all your items and money in a box, enter a dungeon, and Give Up instantly, skipping the day

I'm assuming the move mastery system is similar to Gates, and in that game I believe the max level is 9. As each move gains levels it takes more and more uses to fill up a single tick in the bar.. and you essentially have to fill three bars per move (blue, green, red). The level number turns into a star when it is maxed.

3D adventure games. Your goal in the games for the most part is to make friends with as many Pokemon as possible. You make friends with them by playing mini-games with them or battling them.
The battle system in the game is a free moving, live action battle system that is pretty fun. The second game greatly expands on it.
In the first game, you are stuck playing as only Pikachu. In the second game, you can play as Pikachu, Snivy, Oshawott, or Tepig and switch at any time.
The first game had more of a focus on the waggle based mini-games while the second was much more battle focused and fixed a lot of the issues people had with the first game.
If you ever had a strong desire to play a 3D live combat Pokemon game, you would probably find a good amount of enjoyment out of the second game.

A USB loader will let you play retail game backups off of a USB thumb drive or even an external hard drive. It takes a little bit of effort to set up, but it's still really easy to do and you can't really fuck anything up if you follow a decent guide.

In the guide, you only really need to follow step 4 and 5 for the USB loader. Step 3 is optional, but is good to have.
You can ignore everything on Dios Mios since Nintendont has much better compatibility for gamecube games and requires no actual setup beyond sticking the app on your SD card and a gamecube game in the right folder.
