Magikarp has the best spawn rate on Waterfall Pond 7F with about 2.45%.

And yet, even when compared to worst spawn rate of 1.79% at 9F, it's still better than spawn rate of Mew (0.21%-1.22%), Abra (0.25%-0.77% in Buried Relic; it's far better in Wish Cave), Exeggcute (Howling Forest 14F; 0.62%) or Pidgey (~1.5% in upper floors of Howling Forest), and few things I forgot about.

That wasn't the Spriters Resource's fault. It's the fault of whoever made the sheet. Afaik, the moderators that accept submissions never actually edit the sheets themselves.
I honestly have no clue what the guy who submitted it was thinking. Maybe he just threw them onto the sheet in the order that the game stored them in? I'd likely get a similar result if I did the same with SMD's portraits.

I've never knew you can even rescue people in Purity Forest.

Fun fact: Purity Forest reaches highest difficulty values of 13-14 at last floors (although if you get in escort mission, it adds 2 to that; the game would award 2000 points if you were insane enough to do an escort mission on these, but I am not sure if the game can generate something like that on its own).

In GtI, no. In Super, only the ones with red/rainbow outline.

If you don't have Discharge or Earth Power, I think the battle against Carnivine and his mobs in Sky Peak is the hardest. All of them hit reasonably hard and have around 400HP each, while there are 8 of them, plus you're escorting a weakened Shaymin, who is weak to Grimer and Muk's Sludge Bomb and will die in two hits tops.

Regigiygas starts slowed, his allies are weak and you have Gardevoir healing everyone every turn.

Spritesheet anon here. I'm not really sure how I want to go about making this sheet. I can't decide whether I want to include only the more prominent NPCs, all the unique NPCs, or only the NPCs with special portraits.

When I was thinking about it, the simplest solution would be to just make sheets for each gen and just shove all the impotent and unimportant NPCs in them. It would probably look nicer overall for the most part, but make finding the important NPCs slightly more cumbersome.

How about if you try to make like on PMD 1 mugshots/portraits on Spriters Resource: one group for Protagonists/Partners and other group for NPCs.

But now that they are like 720 Pokemon I'll tell you that if they are too many individual portraits try to divide NPCs by generations.

Pic related is a group of Gates protagonist/partner portraits I made because I hated the way the people that uploaded it on Spriters Resource

No kidding. There are 800 unique NPC portraits and 2285 portraits for all the other NPCs to have 3 for each form.

The thing that makes it weird is I didn't even through it. both iterations of the events happened when one of my teammates tossed something at an enemy
I discovered the Spiked Steelix phenomena when my team just chucked Iron Spikes at it. don't ask me how much, just light it up
And the same happened here, except apparently the AI is quick to learn that their weapons cannot harm it since it only tosses one at a Magmortar then never does it again. which is good since then you don't have your AI burning ammunition. Literally
Apparently I got the "discover new shit" version of the game. Hoopa Monster House Precognition, Iron Spiked Steelix, and Fire Shield. I'm not good at names

It might be, actually, since Fennekin has Ember and Psybeam. In Drilbur Mines it kept moving around trying to hit from a distance while the single enemy kept wailing on me, and if I tried to move to get away the enemy would move too which meant Fennekin had to reposition. If that's the specific cause then I can probably just plan around it, though.

This game has been harder than I expected, I heard about the difficulty spikes in places but just in general it seems enemies are a lot more lethal than in past games, a single one can fuck me and my partner up together even when one of us has a type advantage.

I just got to Poliwrath River with Piplup and Torchic as me and my partner. I used the wondermail codes for TMs but since they're one use I wonder if I should really use them just yet.

Any of them especially good for either of them? Also is there a way to get egg moves? Piplup and Torchic both get agility but it's an egg move for both

There's no way to get egg moves that I know of.
Grass Knot is good on Piplup especially for that dungeon, and Flamethrower is good on Torchic as a more reliable long-distance attack.

Rescue Team and Explorers are compiled in a really shitty way where you can't edit pretty much anything without the game being unplayable.

Gates and PSMD can possibly prove different but I don't think there's a hacking scene for those games yet.

Probably not. There wasn't any major differences between Time and Darkness.
If they do go that way again, I'd like to see something like Oracle of Ages/Seasons where you can play them in either order and then carry some stuff over to the 2nd one and unlock new content you wouldn't see withouting beating the other one first.
