/vp/oreon guild master here to share what I know about the guild features for those who haven't heard.

Guilds can take coins or gems to get funds, used to upgrade the guild.
This will give them Contribution Points to spend on the mall and more recently I found out to "study" stats.
The mall is straight forward; every level the guild gets the better loot for the mall that you can buy with contribution.
Next I can use the funds to research stats, these stats can be studied for a stat increase in attack, defense, etc. with your contribution points.
Also I have no idea if it is all around stats or just for the coming guild wars.

TL:DR
Give me your shekels and gems good goys.

We all get the research menu. It boosts the stats of your party and I'm pretty sure it's independent for each member. I bought the first level of the attack one while keeping track of my OA and it went up after I bought it.

Just use whatever you need for the daily challenges (Bread and Meowth, mostly) and save the rest. Buying pokemon and equipment with it is a bad idea. You need those pokestones for unlocking potential. And while that's cheap at first, it goes up and I'm sure it will be expensive as fuck in the higher levels.

According to the pokedex, Ninjask has slightly higher attack and Shedinja has slightly higher HP. The difference is very small, though. Not even 10%. Ninjask's special attack hits a single target for a lot of damage and Shedinja's dashes two squares and hits anyone on the way. I had Shedinja and I found that special attack annoying, since it would place her out of the healer's range. That said, melee pokemon tend to move out of the healer's range on Auto anyway. I'd say Ninjask is probably a slightly better option, but you might as well just pick whichever one you like more in terms of looks, since you're going to end up replacing her anyway.

The trainer rank is in the party window on the left side of the screen, between the portraits of the pokemon in the team and the equipment slots of whoever you're looking at.

Dunno. I'm starting to think healers just aren't useful. I'm experimenting with replacing mine with a ranged fighter right now and I seem to be doing somewhat better. Seems to me like killing the enemy faster so that they stop hitting you would be better than healing for less than what they're dealing. Especially if the melee pokemon keep running too far to even get healed. But it might just be me.

Regardless of that, from what I can see in the pokedex, if I wanted a healer, I wouldn't pick Chansey. Comparing it to Togepi, which is the other healer of that quality range, Blissey and Togekiss have the same stats, but Chansey is weaker than Togetic and I imagine they're probably stuck in those forms until level 40 like all other 5 star pokemon I've seen. Its passives are pretty terrible too compared to Togepi's line. And their specials are mostly the same except that Chansey's raises defense and Togepi's raises attack. I think raising attack is more useful, since it's rare for all of your pokemon to be getting hit at once while they're all usually attacking at all times.

I agree with him. She's super hot, but useless in battle. Heals way too little. Really, all of my healers so far have made me lose faith in healers in general. I replaced Miltank with Zubat and I've been doing better. Dealing 900 damage to an enemy and occasionally hitting everyone on the screen is better than healing 300 to two allies for all of 10 seconds before they move out of range and Miltank just stands there looking pretty while everyone dies around her. Maybe I'll try having a healer again when I get something good. But not Miltank.

I do still switch her in when I go to Champion Tower so that my team won't be worn down in the lower levels. But in any other situation, she just seems completely useless. She just can't keep up with the damage and the moment anyone uses a special attack and knocks back the enemy, the melee pokemon take two steps away and she can't reach them anymore. I didn't, but I did it anyway, took me 4 fucking pokemon to get one of my cows back. and rebirth only gives back a portion of the money and none of the gems from potential, which I only noticed later, so I lost several hundred gems and about a million bucks. but at least I got milka back. The Arena gives you enough to buy bread each day too. And the daily quests give you 100 stones if you do enough of them. I don't see the point in getting that unless you wasted the 10,000 free pokestones we got from the funding event on something stupid, like 40 summons.

I think all it means is that the set bonus gives the kinds of stats that would benefit that class the most. It works just fine no matter who equips it. Although a ranged pokemon would benefit more from the bonus from the appropriate set instead of the extra HP and defense from the tank set.

I think Milotic is considerably better than Togekiss. Whether it's worth it or not, though, I don't know. You can farm Togepi pieces fairly early in the Elite stages, while Feebass is one of the last ones, if I recall correctly. But I think getting it from the black market would be easier.

There's your problem. Miltank is a shitty healer with no range or auto-heal effectiveness increase and both Zorua and Weepinbell are squishy shits. Get a tank and don't expect the DPS-types to do it for you.

If you're still having issues or don't have a 5* healer, do 5 myth battles a day and start grinding for Suicune.

Minmax like a shitter and don't stop. Throw almost all of your disposable gold at equipment upgrades or awakens, dump massive amounts of Potential Stones into your party members, make sure your frontliners have powerful equipment, and reforge your best gear whenever you can. If you run out of things to do wait for the daily reset to kick in and try again.

Your team comp may also be a bit shat up with too many melees and your healer being useless, so experiment with that. I was able to clear Sinnoh at around your OA.

A second Eevee may be in one of your relationship slots, pull it out, if that fails I have no clue.

Also if you think Sinnoh is difficult you're going to love Johto

Well, you said "buy everything you want from the black market" and that's what gear from there costs. And even if you're talking about only pokemon pieces, you're still lying. A piece of 5 star pokemon costs 12 or 20 souls depending on quality. And you don't get a discount if you buy in bulk. So a single pokemon would cost between 360 and 600 souls. You couldn't have gotten "almost everything you wanted plus a few requirements for 6* fusions" with just 100.

They're selling Shiny Growlithe pieces for pokestones (told you not to waste them) as part of some event. It's uglier than the regular one, but it's the only rare pokemon needed for Meloetta's fusion, so that's pretty good. I'm not sure how the event works, though. Apparently, they discount it more the more people buy it. But you'd need to buy it 6 times and you're only allowed to buy it once. Unless it resets after a while. But there's 67 hours left, so even if it was every day, that's not enough time to gather 30 pieces. Or maybe you just hold on to the pieces until you can get more from another event.

I bought the pieces already. I have plenty of stones and I'm worried that I might miss my chance at getting more pieces if the shop resets after a while and I didn't buy it in time. If it doesn't reset, then I might have jumped the gun. But being a one time buy, I doubt it will get the maximum discount anyway. 20% discount is good enough for me. Especially since this isn't something that you can normally buy. I actually expected Shiny Growlithe to be harder to get. But I guess that's why Meloetta is 6 stars and not 6 shiny stars.

I saw people at the arena and Hero League who had Miltank and whenever she activated her special, instead of a somewhat stronger amount once, it would heal multiple times for over 1500 each. Like, the battle would end before she stopped. Anyone know what's up with that? The one in the arena had the same awakening level as mine and mine doesn't do that.

Charmander is the only one I consistently have trouble defeating even with higher OA. Bulbasaur's special can finish off my entire melee wall even when her team already lost hers. But at least I just end up going one-on-one. But Charmander's pierce + blind combo is fucking bullshit. I'm at the point where every Charmeleon in the Arena has Penetrate and Nightmare and they just can't be defeated no matter how much higher my OA is. No matter what formation I use, they're always hitting two or three of my monsters at the same time at all times and randomly blinding them.

Miltank really isn't that powerful. I'll admit that she's way better than I initially thought. But her special is only good if she can get two rage bars. And it takes her a long time to do that. And her auto-heals are weak and have short range. She's great for Champion Tower, though. Moist is ridiculously good for that mode.

I don't think Bulbasaur is OP. Endeavor is great and her special can destroy a weakened team. But poison does only a fixed 300 damage every 4 seconds, which is kind of worthless unless you're at the lower levels. It can be boosted with gems, but I don't think it would make it much more powerful. As far as I can tell, poison is only good when paired up with that passive that increases your damage against poisoned enemies, but Bulbasaur doesn't have it. I'd say Bulbasaur starts off being the most powerful, but at the second unlocked skill, she becomes even with Squirtle (who starts out being the weakest) and they both fall way behind Charmander.

That said, I doubt any of them are a threat at higher levels when everyone uses nothing but legendaries.

You fell for the trap. Mobile games are always really fun at first when you keep getting new shit and leveling up quickly. But then progression slows to a crawl to make you impatient so that you'll pay. You have to resist the temptation. At least this game has a lot of things that can be done without stamina. But, yeah, you still shouldn't have paid. It's still just tower defense with waifus.

Just a heads-up on the event: The shop does restock. So if you want more than 5 pieces of shiny Growlithe, you're going to have to start buying. It's also not selling well, so I wouldn't count on a huge discount.

The 5-star pokemon box, on the other hand, is almost at the 40% mark. I still feel it's kind of expensive, but at least you get a guaranteed 5-star, so I guess it beats wasting stones on the 10 pokemon summon and adding to your collection of Ratatas and Mankeys.
