What the hell was up with Colosseum's Pokémon distribution? It's a Gen 3 game, yet most of the Pokémon you could catch and purify were Gen 2 shitmons. You couldn't even use any of the Hoenn starters without transferring them from Ruby/Sapphire.

It was designed with the intent of being able to complete Hoenn's National Pokedex because a lot of the Johto Pokemon weren't in Ruby or Sapphire. Alongside FireRed and LeafGreen, XD and Emerald was what it took to be able to complete the dex

Takes like a minimum of 5 games just because Game Freak were retards when designing Gen III. It's also the generation where the series dropped the Gotta Catch 'Em All slogan because they fucked it up

btw, THIS was my first pokémon game, it felt kind of odd for a starting place in the series but that game alone got me hooked enough to get a GBA and all of the next mainline games to this day.

I played pokémon before that but I was a poorfag and all I had was a pS1 with a shit ton of pirated games, I don't regret it, that shit was cash.
