Gen V had some great designs OP, no one is denying that - Golurk, Haxorus, Chandelure, and Haxorus can all attest to that.
But it also had some of the worst designs of any gen. See ice cream, trash, dog, gears, pigeon, and the hurrdurr lines.

I like gen 5's designs, though. They're much better than gen 4 or 2's on average. Sure, the starters and legendary Pokemon are the worst ever, but does that really matter when you have such a wide selection of good normal mons?

I'm no JustinRPG, but Zekrom is just not even all that good looking
I mean I like it, as there's not really any 5th gen design I don't like except the triangle ice bear JUST because it's a triangle, but it just doesn't appeal to me who likes Ho-Oh more than Lugia.
