It has spikes that puff out of it, it's supposed to be kind of like a hedgehog that can puff its spikes out when it runs electricity through them. That's also why it gets iron barbs.

Zodiacfags claim that all the pikaclones are supposed to represent ""new generation features"", but from all the posts I've seen that claim this meme, none of them can ever 100% decide on what Pachirisu/Emolga are. I've seen gender differences/physical-special split/nintendo wifi connection for Pachirisu and rustling grass/dual-type pikaclone/musicals for Emolga, and have seen no attempts for Togedemaru.

Togedemaru isn't this gen's Pikaclone, Mimikkyu is. Mimikkyu represents transferring Gen 1 VC Pokemon to Gen 7 with Pokemon Bank because the only way to catch him is by moving up a Gen 1 Pikachu

Those are all pretty weak attempts considering Pichu, Plusle/Minun, and Dedenne's "features" are immediately discernible/marketed from the moment you look at them. Like they were designed with them in mind.

You would actually have to do look further to know that Pachirisu even has gender differences or that Emolga hides in fucking rustling grass. Nothing about their designs hint to it.

They're going to release a Pikaclone each gen from now on that has a different secondary typing until they're all used up. Then in Gen 22 or whatever they'll come out with a new baby Pokemon that can evolve into any of them (except Plusle, Minun, and the Pikachu family). That way they can just have one wild pikaclone per game while still including them all in the wild. Screencap this and save it for 40 years until I'm proven right.

Is weak against Steel and Ghost only.
It resists Bug (x4).
Inmune against Fighting, Dragon and Normal.
Neutral everything else. Maybe I forgotten another resist but I'd say that's it.

The only Pokemon right now that resists the dual STAB is Litleo/Pyroar. A Normal/Poison or Normal/Steel would, too.

For itself, it's weak to Steel and Ghost only. The Dark weakness of Ghost is neutralized by Fairy. The Poison weakness of Fairy is neutralized by Ghost.

It's immune to Fighting, Normal, and Dragon. It 4x resists Bug. It 2x resists nothing.

So, to recap:
4x weak: --
2x weak: Ghost, Steel
2x resist: --
4x resist: Bug
Immune: Dragon, Fighting, Normal

Really good typing. However, they could easily make a change to Fairy's type interactions this gen. It could a situation like what happened to Honedge again.
