>>27761299We have primate ancestors, regardless of homo erectus or whatever else was around. They had primate ancestors too. Due to the climate of most of the planet not named africa, south america, or southern asia didn't have primates to evolve from. Some groups moved out of Africa before or after others, and evolved differently into new species because of it, just like how all things evolve. There were no European or asian monkeys that evolved into something in the homo genus. There's no evidence of such, at least, since the fossil evidence of these lines ends before humanity's begins.
We're all from africa because that's the only place that could house the species that we evolved from. There's no fossil evidence of going from the primate stages to humanoid stages anywhere outside of africa. We just find the bones of things like homo erectus in other regions and no evidence of evolution along with it, implying migration.
We are not special. Neanderthals were not special. We all came from some ancient long extinct family of primates that evolved a larger brain and upright posture. They all lived in africa. Some of them left for europe, then others left later and they fucked, creating babies with new genes that we kept because they were not harmful.
There is zero evidence that all human species didn't originate somewhere in africa. It doesn't matter if some evolved a little differently, left africa at a different time, or some went extinct, or some have x or y traits, you go back far enough and we reach one location: africa.
