It seems so odd that they would bother giving names to what is essentially just an animation while using their signature move. Maybe there's more to it, like they actually do have a different form/mode that they enter after using a Z-Move?

My guess would be the final Totem boss Pokemon on the fourth island (the one with the triangle-shrine thing). From what we can read about them on the website, it doesn't feel like they'll be super involved in the plot of the games.

I think they'll be integrated more in the way that HGSS integrated Ho-oh and Lugia into the story rather than being Team Skull's endgame. I think that the Tapu guardians and even Zygarde might actually play a bigger role in the story than them tbqh.
