I'm actually currently doing this with Farfetch'd.

Okay, my next goal will be this guy. I think he's awesome and use him on Showdown a lot, but I've never used one in game because of the trade evo thing.

Here's hoping they're available in Sun/Moon.

First time I did this was with farfetch'd too. Was surprised, carried my ass. Stick and high crit moves give 100% crit chance

A good Slowbro can do wonders m8. I use it in Battle Spots just because it's bulky and a pretty good attacker. You can also run a pretty good Trick Room set, especially fun in doubles.

I think you can find a level 25 braviary in w2 downside is it's HA only

Nigga his HA is fucking Defiant.
Sheer Force helps nothing since the only moves that Braviary learns to work with that is Rock Slide and Crush Claw.

It's other ability is Keen Eye. How is having its HA locked a bad thing?

Not as good as you would think. Slowpoke's stats aren't great and are actually physically inclined as well. Plus its evos being locked behind either a trade or level 38 doesn't help it either.
