This implies that Ultrabeasts are Pokemon, or at least the equivalent of Pokemon from their universe.... so who knows?
I'm wondering if they'll just have an outright new type (Ultra-type? Weak against Normal or something crazy like that), just to really sell the alien-ness of them.
Who knows, they might even tie it into any Gen 4 remakes (doubtful, but you never know). Wild Ultra Beasts in the Distortion World could make a lot of sense. It could be the Sinnoh equivalent of Alola Forms: Ultra Elgyem, anyone?
