>>28327824Fennel's sleep schedule caught up with her before too long, and she left the job for an easy one, out in the Alola region. Sun, sand, and a number-crunching job so easy they could probably get a Mankey to do it. Fennel needed to unwind for a while.
The trip had been a bit rough. By raw chance she had been seated next to the restroom on a flight with no fewer than six sets of people committed to the Sky-High club, and she had buried herself in some reading, while absentmindedly massaging herself. She spent the night in a decent hotel, and had a night reminiscent of Sycamore's lab.
The next day, she arrived at her workplace, familiar fatigue clinging to her as usual. It was a fairly nice place, pretty clean. She had yet to see her employer, a Doctor Wicke, and was being shown around by a fellow coworker. She settled in to her job, but the combination of boring paperwork and her own restless night meant that she quickly zoned out. She snapped back in as she felt someone grabbed her chin, and lifted her head.
"Well, well, someone looks like they had a rough night"
Fennel gazed into the spectacled eyes of a woman. A full-figured woman with blue hair, a tacky glasses, and a rather... interesting top that put her tits on display. Fennel briefly thought of her own chest, before refocusing on the situation at hand. "Uh... yeah, I'm sorry. Jet lag, you know."
"Jet lag, huh?" The woman's eyes looked straight into hers. "If you say so." She turned Fennel's face, which made her suddenly aware of the hold the woman had on her. "A cute thing like you might have just been up to no good, though" she said with a smile.
"E-excushe me?" Fennel spat out of her smooshed cheek.
"Oh, forgive me. I have a tendency to just speak my mind! Anyways, I'm Doctor Wicke. Good to meet you, Miss Fennel!"
Fennel's eyes widened, and she straightened out. "I apologize, Doctor. It won't happen again, ma'am."
