Atlantic Canada would be best for a scenic Region but you'd need to include Labrador to have a proper set of towns in snow, like most non-Canadians would expect of Canada.

Why would those be in a Canada based region? The majority of bigfoot sightings are in the US in the shitty not-east-coast-but-not-mid-west states. And thunderbird myth is mostly from the Pacific Northwest Coast, mainly Washington, Alaska, Northern Cali, etc. I mean, yeah, that also British Columbia, but is still more associated with the US.

There's a lot of stuff gamefreak could do with a Canadian inspired region. Tons of animals,myth and legends environment ect. If they were not lazy they could make it the biggest region in pokemon history if they really wanted to.
