The leaks which were my favorite batch of final starter evos ever turned out real, and their pre-evos all look great to boot.
VGC is getting a permanent ruleset in Battle Spot, and they are reworking timers.
You can play against friends using rental teams.
Megas are back but are not allowed in official formats that matter.
Festival Plaza seems like a fun pastime.

Everything is on point.

This is the only trailer so far to fail to get me excited, actually achieved the opposite. The evos are OK. I don't hate megas, but wasting all that time showing existing megas did nothing for me. Ash-Greninja, though? There's not anything worse they could do without Ash himself.

I don't care about this board's drama so I'm super excited for the new Join Avenue alola incarnation.
Favorite part of BW2 and I'll probably spend a ton of time on it in SM.
The owl looks cool too, I think I'll name him Jeeves after Ley's butler from GC.

Ash-Greninja is pretty dumb imo.
Pretty happy with most of the starters (Idk how i feel about Popplio's mid evo, and Litten's final evo maybe being fire/fighting)
Mega isnt gone
Event plaza is back and improved
Stones are easier to get and not limited to the game
Good shit

I'm pretty hyped for this game, so far it has the only fire started I've ever really liked and a whole bunch of cool new pokemon. This will also be the first time I get a game while it's online will still work. The only thing I don't like is how it seems that there won't be any new megas, I was hoping for some other "shitmons" like mawile or beedrill to get well deserved buffs.

Megas were fine, but they dominated the meta like crazy. So having a year without them will be a nice change of pace.

Besides, there's always the Friendly Competitions we'll be able to set up and share, if we desperately need a format with Megas. I'm looking forward to the /vp/ tournaments.

I don't love Rowlet's evo, but the Brionne is adorable and Ash Greninja is okay. Not the greatest thing ever, but decent enough.
