Here is what I know from Sun and Moon. I am a worker from the ESRB that got to play this game through and this is what I got to know why I played.
- A few pokemon get reclassified to the Fairy type or gain the type. Such as the Happiny line (Part Fairy) Misdreavus line (part Fairy), Dunsparce (part Fairy), Gorebyss (part Fairy), Delcatty (Pure Fairy) & Petilil line (part Fairy) just to name a few.
- 16 total Trial captains beat them & get the Z-Stone for each type. Evil Team have the Poison & Dark Stones
- Post game is the best in the series. Return to Kalos region in a special way thanks to the Ultra Beasts & Battle Frontier (main attraction is like A PWT like event where players from past game make an appearance and fight you) Roaming Legendaries make a return.
Type Null Unmasked is Dark/Normal with Mole Breaker
- Ultra-Beasts are not Pokémon and can’t be captured They serve as Boss Battles.
- Locktin’s Theory of Alchemy is correct, but are off in a few areas. But the main theme of this generation is Alchemy
- The Chinese starter evolution leaks are real & 100% not concept art that was floating around. The types are Grass/Flying (Mixed Fast Sweeper), Fire/Dark (Physical Fast Sweeper) & Water/Fairy (Defensive Tank)
- Salandit has a gender based split evolution both keep Corrosive
- New Rotom Form that is usable in Battle called Rotom-Clean is in game it’s Poison/Electric
- Guzma is the son of Cyrus from Team Galactic. He wants to open the diminsions to seize control of all the universes & bring his Dad back
- Gladion is Lillie’s brother. Both are not evil, but Gladion is a bit more aggressive than his sister
