Because GameFreak is filled with either incompetent people or cruel assholes. Every fucking Gen they remove some awesome feature from the previous games, day and night in Gen 3, following Pokemon in Gen 5, seasons in Gen 6, and now they take out sitting, I am genuinely angry, but sadly not surprised.

I sit every time I save and turn off the game.

I also sit whenever I am going to EV train a poke for a long period of time.

Also there are at least three different Machamp in this town. Who the fuck is raising so many Machamp? Who took the time to level up a Machop until it evolved, then traded them all around? They don't seem like they're owned by the same person, did the Machamp guy hand them around as gifts?

GODDAMNIT THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I DIDN'T WANT. All the people who claimed it would only happen to types you already used were fucking liars. This is the worst case scenario for this feature, they could've made it like just described or limited it to Pokémon you caught but no, they have to go with the worst possible choice. There's no way to turn it off from what I can tell, too.

It even happens if you see a Pokémon and IMMEDIATELY run without using any moves, the second one onward will tell you the effectivenes for all your moves.

The menus feel way less smooth than the menus in XY/ORAS, it's like there's lag behind everything here, but maybe it's because I'm on O3DS.

At least the audio quality of Pikachu's cry is a lot better.

The audio quality is way clearer though.

And I don't see the issue with cries in the overworld, it's one of the few things I missed from Gen III.

I don't know the types of the new Pokémon. I want to discover those by surprise. If a trainer is the first one to use a new Pokémon, I'd have the type spoiled for me by the time I can find it in the wild. Some of us LIKE surprises.
