Recently replayed pearl, one thing i really liked that seems to be missing in the new ones is the way certain trainers interact during the battle. When a pokemon's health gets low and they something like "we're not done yet", or when they send out their last pokemon, i think the music also changes. made it a lot more immersive than the normal pre and post battle only chattings. thoughts? why did this stop being a thing?
