HG/SS, Platinum, Emerald, B/W and B2/W2 are all examples of medium-to-high amounts of post game that kept me occupied for a long time.
The Gen 6 games however, had a fraction of the post-game, despite being newer (and despite OR/AS being a remake of R/S, like Emerald!)
Gen 7 looks like it will follow the same shitty botched post-game as Gen 6, there is reason for people to be upset. We haven't had a big post-game for 4+ years now, and it's starting to look worrying that this is now the norm for Pokemon games.
