Fire types aren't all made out of fire. Water types aren't all made out of water. Electric types aren't all made out of electricity. Ground types aren't all made of soil.
Rock types shouldn't have to be literally made of rocks. Grass types shouldn't have to directly incorporate plants into their biology.
