The fuck i am overleveled and i have been defeated 10 times even with STAB, this games may not be le ebin difficult adventure but are harder than XY by far and more aware of your strategy.

You do realize losing a battle doesn't send you back to your last save in Pokémon, right ? This isn't a classic JRPG.

he suprised me too when he showed up out of the blue, with my team being a metagross, rastafarian dragon, owl, jumper cable bug, and muk. But with the ability to switch before he sends out anything made it so i could stabalize. The only trouble I had was with the reflect.

I cheesed out a win with Xurkitree doing most of the work, but his Mega Alakazam unfortunately Traced Beast Boost and went on a rampage until I had to swap in my Golisopod that was 20 levels under. First Impression saved the day

Seriously, if anyone wants to experience intense Anime-esque battles, then I highly recommend raising love in Refresh. It'll make the game a bit easier, but the sheer, tense feelings from surviving on 1 health makes the much so much cooler.

Dexio is the one who gives you the Alakazite when you fight him in the postgame, so I think he's the one who can be fought there in both versions.

What I don't understand is why there are two pychic-type specialists with high-leveled teams (Faba and Dexio) while the ice-type specialist has only 2 shitmons outside the Battle Tree.

It's high enough where maxed out hearts + dire hit = 100% crit rates. When hunting I just use a Dire Hit to ensure I know how much damage I'm doing 100% of the time...
