The top row is my actual team, just past the first UB01 encounter. The bottom row is what I expected to take to the endgame. Also, Lusamine makes the most unsettling faces, holy shit. I'm also going to catch an Araquanid shortly. Might end up using it but I don't know who I'd swap out.

almost used Crabominable instead of Kommo-O, I'm starting to hate that huge grin less. I still think it looks stupid and wish it looked cooler, but I'm starting to like that goofy stupid grin a tiny bit.

I didn't want to use in my mind at least best starter right off the bat with the pirated version (I'm a Yuropfag so I still don't get my legit copies of the games til tomorrow) and I didn't want to use most of my planned team but I ended up using Lurantis in the name of our saviour and I couldn't resist using Mimikyu on my team.
Vikavolt and Wishiwashi I'm using on my second playthrough and Incineroar and Bewear I plan to use on my next playthrough.

Beat E4 with:

I mainly used slowpoke/bro in solgaleo's place up till the E4, but I didn't know how hard it would be. So I played it safe and took Solgaleo. I'm pretty happy with the fact that I never lost a battle throughout the game, but the totem Salazzle put me through the ringer before I took it down.

I wanted to use Ninetales, Marowak, and Crabrawler, but my friend won't get his ass online to trade me a Vulpix, Marowak gets screwed out of its signature move, and doesn't learn shit for ghost or fire-type moves outside of that until endgame, and Crabrawler doesn't evolve until endgame either.

Fell in love with Crabrawler when he jumped out of the berry patch. Decided to use it instead of sun doggo since i was unsure about him anyway.

Found Wimpod first then found Dewpider when back-tracking. Was so sure I wanted Golisopod but that bubble-headed little freak won me over and I didn't want two bug/water mons.

Didn't get Kommo-o til after Solgaleo so it really fucking blew having no EVs, I actually sunk a few hours into getting power items for EV training it just so it wouldn't have such a big stat gap.

I'm happy with how this turned out. Minior was a happy accident as I was just looking for something to fill out the last slot until Jangmo-o. He was too good to let go though. Trading over a Jang egg for another file because getting it that late into Poni is bullshit.

I'm so mad at GF. Drampa and Type: Null can only be found very late in the game, while Charjabug and Crabrawler have location based evolutions that are also in the late game. Rowlet becoming Ghost type also kicked Mr. Sandman off my team, because I don't like repeating types.

What I've learned:
Wish I got Moon for A-Sandslash
Marmeanie became an absolute bro on this team and loved that I went for it.
Mimikyu and Toxapex alone carried me the entire game.
I prefer Charjabug w/ Eviolite over Vikavolt ten times over.
