I'm pretty sure everything extreme was carried out by Aether, not just because I like team skull but it makes more sense

The only thing they succeed to do that we see on screen is....steal a Yungoos.......from two preschoolers

Obviously we know they work for Aether but I think it cannot be overstated how much of the actual moving was probably Aether since Skull seems less like something even remotely successful in the "stealing, being bad" department and more just a gathering of young people who have no other place in the world

Considering Team Skull are just a bunch of disenfranchised youths, and that they don't seem to have a goal besides being mildly disruptive, this is a very plausible theory. IIRC it's even stated that they steal Pokemon FOR Aether, so it's not farfetched to think they didn't do that before falling in with them.

Well, it would not be completed enough since it's still a cursed town, but I certainly wish for the former Team Skull to try and fix it up. I see him more as elite 4.

Plums is definitely a huge softie with a rough finish. I knew Team Skull wasn't evil after I battled her and she told me not to mess with her dumb cute brothers and sisters.

I do some times but I try not to let who I used to be bother the person I've grown to be. I still have a whole folder of a really awful slash pairing I used to fantasize about heavily like 3 years ago.. when I look at it I remember how unhealthily obsessed I was with a fictional relationship but in hindsight it really only showed me how I was using escapism to avoid working on myself. I had to overindulge before I realized exactly why I was doing what I was doing.
Now I can come to husbando worship threads like these and enjoy them without it keeping me from enjoying anything else. Maybe look at your realization of your past cringey behavior be a sign that you have grown as a person.

I'm still skeptical. Honestly, I'd prefer 2-3 minutes of a special like Generations than risking to see the whole plot of SuMo completely fucked up because the main character has to be Ash/Satoshi.
We already have: the elemental trio, Lana Mallow and Kiawe, on a different island; then Lillie that isn't a trainr not because she doesn't want Pokémon to be hurt in battle but because she's afraif of touching Pokémon (what are they gonna do with Cosmog, give it to Ash?).
While the series for now is really nice, I don't want to risk weird stuff. Specials are the way to get an IC Guzma I believe.

I watched the first 5 episodes so far (the ones I found available with subtitles), and there's no Cosmog whatsoever. I repeat, the series is nice for now, but the plot needs to be handed with gloves. Guzma risks to become a generic idiot so Ash can win more battle with the power of friendship.

I'm actually surprised they didn't want to recreate the start of SM with Ash saving Cosmog. It's definitely the kind of scene that suits the anime. I can't imagine they don't plan to get into UBs, so why not include Cosmog?

I agree with pretty much all of this except for Hala dying

They wouldn't make a larger character die on a somewhat big storyline, pokemon games usually only refer to heavy stuff like death in small, hidden side-quests/events (like that woman with her machamp that had her husband get killed by the car crash)
