I know about them, but they only increase them up to 20% at the most, and the majority are only increased to 5-10%

Give it an assault vest and/or switch into something that cant do shit to it. You have 3 stabs to hit whatever the opponent will switch into, so you have to choose well. You can also just band it if you only want to hit switch ins.

You mean Kangaskhan. Bagon has another spot in which it can be found, which Kangashkhan is a flat 1% with no way to manipulate it or alternate route.

Castform is a true contender though, it's the only pokémon I gave up on catching myself entirely, I just bred a Vanillite and traded it on GTS

Vanillites seem to be on high demand for some reason, I managed to get pretty much every single QR scanner exclusive by trading them

Dhelmise's spawning area is literally right next to an area changing door. Walking in and out resets the rippling. Even if SM didn't chug the 3DS when you reloaded it, it would still be quicker just to run and go in and out of the door.

This. I love a bunch of the new Pokémon, only disliking like 2 or 3. I think I spent more time in my playthrough searching through Wingulls and the endless amounts of Gen 1 Mons looking for the Pokémon I want. Took forever to get my Stufful and Pichu.

You just need to enter and exit the Steelix ship, every time you exit the fishing spot will be a fishing special, and Dhelmise spawn rate will be increased to 10% (or 20%, I don't remember).
It took ten minutes to find it.

I've been on some sort of odd lucky streak when it comes to encountering rare mons. A lot of SOS exclusive mons I've encountered after the first call for help, and some rare grass encounters I found in the first battle after deciding to go look for them. It's very bizarre.

Fucking Alomomola in the Totem Den of Lanas trial was worse.
>Only bubbling area was all the way in the middle of the den.

At least with Dhelmise the door to reset the bubbles were right there.

I'm assuming the 1% is to balance out how easy it is to get stuff through trade. You will most likely get something rare through pure luck that can be breed and traded for the others. However, GTS is not that fun, so it isn't a great solution.

It seems a lot of the new Pokemon, or at least the ones I was interested in using, are rare compared to older mons. Kind of fucking retarded, really. One of the many things that wore thin on me during SM was constantly encountering Golbats and Pelipper and shit.
