The issue is within the fanfiction world, character x reader fics are usually considered "bottom tier" fic. So really good writers don't often do them.

Usually fujo fic ends up the best and with the most effort. But yes, Wattpad is known for being shit and fanfiction.net is pretty much dead. AO3 is really the only option.

I'm just saying that's why you don't see much top tier Guzma x Reader. You won't see too much with even aged up Moon either because most of the creators on AO3 are Tumblr women, so that's not going to be a huge pairing. Fujostuff always gets a ton.

As someone who loves when bigger, stronger characters sub, I'm pretty happy overall. It's not common to get so much content.

I would say that Guzma gets more dom stuff when it's him x reader, though? I don't see a ton of sub fic with him.

Guzma doesn't have a lot of fic in general, when I think about it. Which sucks because this would be the time when the most content would come out. I don't see the number of fics growing in the future.

Does anyone have any clue what's up with Guzma and the Battle Tree? I've heard from like three different sources (I think someone here mentioned it) that he can be scouted for double battles but most of the shit I've read agrees that battle legends can't be scouted. I haven't done too much with the Battle Tree yet so I haven't been able to confirm jack shit for myself. Anyone know for sure how to get him as a partner, if it's possible? I just wanna be by his side ;_;

As an aside I'll probably start working on some Guz x reader works. I'm about as thirsty for it as anyone else so if you've got any requests or ideas I could use some inspiration to go off.

They figured if you assume the MC is about 143cm tall, then put increasing heights in the comparison chart til it matches in game sprites then he should be somewhere in that range. Getting back on topic...

There was this interesting meta post on tumblr about Nanu convincing Guzma to dissolve Team Skull after the whole Lusamine incident. It seems pretty plausible, given that the dissolution was something I always found to be really sudden.

The image of Nanu sitting down with a shell-shocked Guzma with a mug of Tapu Cocoa in his hands is really cute too, not going to lie.

I left Tumblr before SJs became a mainstream thing and assuming from your post, things got worse in there. Too bad, it was fun place in 2009-early 2013 for me and seeing it being infested and parasites with those people make me a little sad.

I wish we'd seen Guzma having more reaction to his time in Ultra Space in general. He disbanded Team Skull, but otherwise seemed no different than he was before. Considering how traumatized he was in Ultra Space, it seemed weird that there was no mention of it in his conclusion. Especially when the whole post-game arc was about Ultra Space's lingering effects.

Granted, you only see him once in the postgame (Battle Tree doesn't count), so you could reason that it's just him trying to put on a brave face after such a disastrous event.

I wish Ultra Space was bigger and had more events inside of it. Like teaming up with him in there or something.

That's true, but it still seemed sloppy. Even Hala could have at least brought it up in a line and have Guzma get defensive over it.

But a lot about the main story was rushed at the end, so it isn't surprising. The lack of events inside Ultra Space and you not getting the chance to fight your way through Ultra Bests seemed like a glaring mistake. Guzma battling in there with you also would have given him a point to being there. It's not like you really needed anyone to remind you that Lusamine was batshit.
